The Story

The first step back

After the accident, the rebuild started where it shows: in the vertical. The Männlichen, five weeks after surgery, was the first hike — short, but decisive. Regaining mobility, balance and confidence, one day at a time.

Step by step higher

Short loops became long days: Oeschinensee, Pilatus, Schynige Platte–Faulhorn–First, and finally the Säntis with 1,460 m of climbing. Each hike a measurable step on the same line — plan, walk, recover.

Not the summit. The safe return — and the next step.
