Personal memories: The Carstensz Pyramid was the most technically difficult climb of the seven summits. I did it together with Theo Fritsche. We started with blue sky and sunshine, on the summit it was cloudy walking back it started to hail and at lower altitude the heavy rain changed the abseiling into a canyoning experience through mountain creeks rushing down the walls. The day after we traversed the even more difficult Middle Peak nearby - free on sight. It was a great team experience and wonderful set up with the Base Camp near a lake and mountains with excellent rock all around.
